Banker is reTIRED! Let us allow him to enjoy his time. Please no calls, no texts, no emails.

Banker is reTIRED! Let us allow him to enjoy his time. Please no calls, no texts, no emails.

He has done more than enough after giving pro-bono support to defaulters for many years. Now he deserves a break.

Those who have access to his number and email address, kindly refrain from directly calling, texting, or emailing him. Don't give his personal contacts to others.

From now on, he won't entertain any emails, calls, or texts. Don't misinterpret him. Banker is never rude. He is wise, experienced, smart, and super funny. His "sarcasm" is a real treat.

If you have "life and death" questions, kindly BACKREAD the open posts. You will learn a great deal. Or posts your questions as many other defaulters are generous enough to share tips and diskartes.

If you do not find answers to your paranoia, kindly email directly to diskarteguide@gmail.com.

You will have the opportunity to meet and ask @reTIRED banker in person if you join this year's Yearend EB on November 11, 2023, at 2pm. Details are already posted.

To those you have been here for sometime now, let us express our gratitude to banker by sharing one powerful diskarte that has hugely helped us.

  1. One best diskarte I am using - never believe what the CA crooks say. they remain the number source of our paranoia. maging mas malala ang problema natin the moment we start to believe their lies.

    1. From what I know credit card debt is unsecured debt. Credit card companies don't want the hassle to garnish any property because they want cash, not your house. Besides they have to pay filing fee. That is why there is a collection agency. As far as the bank is concerned your debt is not important to them anymore.

Which ginawa nila. lagi ako may communication email at text from EWB. I never answer text or call mas gusto ko email para may electronic trail ng communication

  24. Here is an advise I have always given here.

It may stress you out to answer calla from Collection Agenciies, but the only way for you to almost guarantee na di ka guguluhin nyan sa work mo o trabaho mo is one of the following:

    - Bayaran mo ang utang mo now
    - Sagutin mo tawag and email nila

Kung wala ka babayad, better answer them. As long as they are able to talk to you, ikaw lang ang kakausapin nyan.

    That is my advise.

    1. Totoo po ito. Same din sa ginagawa ko. Every once in a while sumasagot ako sa calls.

What i will do daw is to wait na may enough money na and wait for the email ni bank na may offer ng discounted amt to be paid. And if sasagot man sa mga panggugulo ng mga CAs thru email para recorded daw po. Kasi mas lalo nakaka stress ang makipag usap sa ibat ibang CAs.. hnd ka rin pwede makipag negotiate sakanila dahil they dont have the power to do so.. they are just collectors.. and bawal na bawal na nakikipag usap sila sa iba kung hnd naman yun ang may utang. Pwede din siguro if you know the CA name, inform them that disclosing the debt sa ibang tao.. pwede sila makasuhan din. If all of us are giving advice na wag matakot, huwag mataranta, huwag magpadala sa mga txt or calls.. then why dont we have the choice na hnd sila sagutin.

    4. In the Philippines, debt collection practices are regulated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDPCA) under Republic Act No. 10870. The law sets out specific guidelines that debt collectors must follow when attempting to collect a debt.

Some of the unfair debt collection practices prohibited by the FDPCA include:

      1. Harassment or abuse, such as using profane or obscene language, making excessive phone calls, or threatening violence or harm to the debtor or their family members. Messaging using social media.

      2. False or misleading statements, such as misrepresenting the amount owed or the consequences of not paying the debt.

      3. Unfair practices, such as contacting the debtor at unreasonable hours, contacting them at their workplace after being instructed not to, or collecting additional fees or charges that are not authorized by law or the original agreement.

      4. Contacting third parties such as the debtor's employer, relatives, or neighbors, and disclosing information about the debt without the debtor's consent.

Debt collectors who violate the FDPCA may face penalties and fines, and debtors have the right to file a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Department of Trade and Industry.

If you are experiencing unfair debt collection practices, it is recommended that you seek legal advice or contact the appropriate government agency for assistance.

If may konti kang extra funds, lay down your proposal. Stick with your proposal, at least you offered to settle, nasa sa kanila if kakagat sila.

    2. @Ctbc Defaulter,

Pangalawa, kung may pangalan man, CTBC will deny they instructed that agency to do that.

The harrassment by collection agencies to defaulters is only condemned as a show, but that is widely condoned because fear and embarrassment is a great motivator pay up.

If BSP acts on complains they get about harrassment, di na kelangan ni Banker mag-retire dito, because he never had to start this group.

Ang gawin nyo is educate yourselves on your rights, and wag magpatakot sa mga yan.

  34. @CTBC defaulter , hi if I were you I wl never waste my time making complains with the bsp or any body for that matter
first of all, walling name ng addressee and you just presume na its for the past due with ctbc
given na po sa mag kolektor ang maging ill-mannered and don't ever stoop down to their level
if sms or email pa delete lang po and deal with the bank pag ok na ang resources
that is what most of the defaulters did

Bukod doon civil case po eto hindi criminal case :-) kaya out of the question both Brgy and kung sino man yan hepe hepe-han na yan lol :-)

Eto ang gawin ko diskarte knowing what I know now - will keep in touch with the bank para kahit paano thru emails just incase na mapa Oo mo sila sa panahon kaya mo na mag one time payment.
Dadaanan mo talaga yun journey ng pang ha- harass ng mga collector. trabaho nila mamburaot kaya lagi payo dito is how we respond to them is what we can control.
diskarte ko lagi is not to take their calls PERO nag respond ako sa emails nila (pag sinipag lol) na wala pa talaga ako pang settle will just keep in touch pag meron na :-).

    1. Pag na unahan talaga ng sindak doon tayo binabalot ng anxiety. kaya lagi po payo dito sa blog is - "we control how we react.." Your feeling of anxiety is valid, pero i pray na mas maging strong ka to apply the diskartes na bigay ng iba iba nag post dito. I use to be like that din takot na takot pag sinasabihan na kuno kuno mga police daw at kuno kuno may reklamo DAW a certain Atty (Lol).

Plus add to that ang tutoong police ay wala time at hindi nila work or trabaho ang samahan mga collector manigil hahaha. Hindi po kasama sa job description ng police yun to assist collecting agencies and their collectors.
From that incident this was back prepandemic pa. nagkaroon ako tapang sagutin mga ganyan nag babanta sa cellphone ayun natigil.
